With the advent of September comes the beginning of law school application season, so we've hit the ground running to start the advising process. This past Thursday, September 2, we held our annual fall pre-law introductory meeting, where we explained the application process and the accompanying deadlines and answered general questions about applying to law school. We're in the midst of matching pre-law advisers with applicants and students and will be contacting the matched applicants early next week with their advisers' contact information. Stay tuned!
We've set up a Gmail address, winthropprelaw@gmail.com, to use as a central contact for our pre-law advising staff. If you have any questions for us, just e-mail us at that address and we'll answer your query as soon as we can.
Some important dates to put on your calendar, whether you're applying this cycle or not:
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 2 - We will be proctoring a practice LSAT exam on campus. We don't yet know where or what time the exam will be held, but if you are interested please block off that day on your calendar. We'll be administering the June 2007 exam, which is the one available on the LSAC website.
SUNDAY, OCTOBER 17 - Come have brunch in the Winthrop JCR with our pre-law advising team. We'll be answering questions and giving advice on all things law school.
